Max Santangelo

Max oversees the Franklin Institute’s 3D printing fabrication area, the Tech Studio. He researches emerging technologies and develops relevant educational content for the museum floor. As part of the Museum Programs and Outreach Initiatives team, Max works alongside science educators and volunteers to create an engaging visitor experience both in the Tech Studio and around the Institute.

Max earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Art History with a Studio Art Minor in Scientific Illustration from Arcadia University. His favorite art historical topics include the Italian Renaissance, Post-Impressionism, and ancient Greco-Roman art. He plans to pursue a graduate degree in the future. Max became interested in 3D printing technology after learning about how it is used in the fields of art history and archaeology.
